The Level 2 Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship (PCE) was held at Serdang Lake View Resort in Bandar Baharu, Kedah on 24th March 2022. The programme successfully attracted 150 participants from Kulim through Bandar Baharu areas and was conducted for 10 days by Effour Embassy Sdn Bhd, an Accredited Training Provider of KLIEC.
It received a funding of approximately RM1.05 million from Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDCorp) under the Penjana Scheme and was tasked with the objective of training small entrepreneurs who were affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic to help get them back on the right track.
The modules were designed to give a comprehensive understanding on capital structure of any type of businesses, be it sole proprietorship or incorporation and which type of registration would best benefit their business – from capital planning and the ease of doing business to taxation point of view.
Ultimately, the entrepreneurs should be able to grasp the knowledge and skills required to position their product or services and segmentise market based on demand. They should also be able to critically evaluate the key issues in product development, marketing and branding, and formulate rebranding strategy to cope up with competition and technological advancement.
PCE was both officially opened and closed by ADUN of Bandar Baharu, Datuk Norsabrina Mohd Noor.
