Course Description

The objective of this module is for students to learn the financial tools needed to make good business decisions. The
emphasis will be on linking corporate finance to other aspects of corporate strategy.


What will you learn?

​Upon completing this course, students will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
  • Evaluate and consider the optimal mix of debt and equity financing.
  • Develop the tools needed for valuing investment projects, including the determination of the relevant cash flows and the appropriate discount rate.
  • Formulate appropriate Risk management provision in financial decision making.

​Adrian Ang

Mr. Ang began his career as an accountant in Melbourne during 1985. Upon his return to Malaysia, Mr. Ang served as, inter alia, the Finance Director for a PCB firm, the Executive Representative for a Venture Capital Organisation and Executive Director for Astral Supreme Bhd.

In his professional capacity, he has extensive senior management experience locally and internationally. Mr. Ang is currently the Chairman of CPE Technology Bhd. and director for EG Industries Bhd & Ralco Corporation Bhd.

Professionally, he is a Chartered Accountant, fellow of ICDM and hold a MOE Teaching Permit for Masters level. ​He is now lecturing MBA for University of Gloucestershire and Genovasi UC.
