As students near the completion of their academic journey at Kolej SPACE at UTMKL, they are presented with a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience through internships. These internships, whether locally or abroad, serve as a bridge between academic and practical application, allowing students to apply their knowledge in professional settings and gain valuable insights into their chosen field.

An example of internship opportunities offered is the internship at Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) for students enrolled in the Double Diploma in Rail Management (DDRM). This unique internship experience provides students with hands-on training and exposure to the operations of one of Malaysia's leading railway companies, offering invaluable insights into the intricacies of rail management and operations.

Throughout the internship at KTM, students have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, gaining firsthand experience in various aspects of rail management, including planning, scheduling, maintenance, and customer service.
