Bread Baking and Bakery Entrepreneurship
Seeing the potential in small business opportunities for housewives, unemployed graduates and even those seeking a chance to generate an additional side income, Effour Embassy Sdn Bhd (EESB) set out to conduct a programme that served this purpose.
The programme attracted 150 aspiring entrepreneurs in the bakery and bread baking industry who were thought to capitalise on the lucrative combination of home-based production with online marketing as an affordable strategy to kick-off their online business.
As an Accredited Training Provider of KLIEC and the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDCorp), EESB successfully conducted the event from 10th to 14th August 2022 at LaCrista Hotel in Melaka. Majority of the participants came from Melaka and even some who came from as far as Tangkak, Johor.
For the programme, EESB employed two senior bakers who were Chef Wan Saiful Asri Wan Johar from Pastry Trainers Malaysia and Chef Suhaila from Suemiyosh. Both chefs came from Kuala Lumpur. The programme received positive reviews from the participants who gratefully thanked Dato' Rosthman Ibrahim from LaCrista Melaka for providing their training at such a glamorous venue and that the lunches provided were of great presentation and taste.
