Course Description
Business ethics is crucial for an organization's viability, profitability, and reputation, which is its most valuable asset. In today's management landscape, stakeholder pressures and legal requirements significantly shape organizational operations. Products and services must not only address environmental concerns but also meet broader societal expectations.
Organizational behavior is inherently linked to morals and ethics, which are essential for sustainable management practices. For managers, business ethics play out in two dimensions: personal ethical conduct within the organization and ethical considerations regarding the organization's societal impact.
This module explores various models and theories beyond mere morality in business. Organizational behavior and corporate social responsibility are highly practical, directly influencing competitiveness and market acceptance.

Meet Your Instructor

Florinsiah binti Lorin
Florinsiah binti Lorin is a dedicated educator and researcher, contributing to the academic community with her expertise and passion for knowledge dissemination. Holding a Master's degree in Biomedicine, specializing in In Vitro Plant Toxicology from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), she has delved deep into the intricacies of plant toxicity and its implications.
Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Business Management, also from UiTM. Prior to that, she obtained a Diploma in Science with a focus on Biology, laying the foundation for her academic pursuits.
She has over thirteen years teaching experience starting as a Teaching Assistant at UiTM. Then, she progressed to become a Lecturer for a year at UiTM, teaching both Bachelor’s degree and Diploma students and teaching Biology and Business Management related subject at IPTS.
Her commitment to education and research underscores her dedication to nurturing future generations of scholars and professionals, making her an invaluable asset to any academic institution.
