That's why we offer the Micro-credential Certificate in Student Leadership (MCSL) programme, providing students with the chance to enhance their leadership capabilities through immersive experiences held at University Utara Malaysia's campsite in Sintok, Kedah.
The MCSL programme is designed to equip students with the essential skills, knowledge, and attributes needed to excel as leaders in both academic and professional settings. Participants explore key concepts such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making, gaining practical insights into effective leadership practices and strategies. Elevating Leadership Qualities
As part of the Microcredential Certificate in Student Leadership (MCSL) programme, students are given the opportunity to participate in a series of exhilarating teambuilding activities, including abseiling, jungle tracking, and night walking, designed to challenge their bravery, foster teamwork, and build resilience.
Abseiling, one of the key activities in the MCSL teambuilding programme, provides students with an opportunity to conquer their fears and test their limits in a controlled and supportive environment. Scaling down a vertical surface using ropes and harnesses requires not only physical strength and agility but also mental fortitude and trust in oneself and others.
In addition to abseiling, jungle tracking and night walking activities offer students a chance to connect with nature, explore their surroundings, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment.
